SMG Big Room available for meetings/gatherings

Big Brothers Big Sisters is fortunate to have a state of the art meeting and training space available for company, organization and small/large group use.  The Big Room was made a possible by Solutions Management Group (SMG). 

 

 

The room can accommodate up to 50 people and includes technology for presentations, zoom/team remote inclusion, surround sound and owl zoom technology.  The space includes a refrigerator, sink, coffee pot, coat rack, aisle and white board.  Additional space is available for breakouts, a lunch/meal area outside of the space, as well as an outdoor patio and small conference room.  Restrooms are located just outside of the BIG Room.  

The space is available during regular business hours, but evening and weekend accommodations can be arranged.  

The space is ideal for retreats, leadership or department off site meetings, club meetings, meetings involving both in person and remote participants, as well as  organizations.

The SMG/BBBSMV Partnership

SMG has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters for more than 20 years.  SMG has been a strategic partner in improving our operations and efficiencies in the areas of workflow automation, technology lifecycle management, print and document solutions, structured cabling, and many other critical infrastructure and automation areas.  They have also been engaged in delivering our mission in the community.  SMG founder, Keith Lindbloom has served on the Board of Directors and as a long time Big Brother.  SMG has served as events sponsors including Putt A Round, Golf Outing, and currently the presenting sponsor of our Plant Sale.  When BBBSMV decided to move from our 5th Street location to 35th Street Court, Keith and SMG engaged to help with the transition by coordinating our equipment transport and set up.  They also created a wonderful training and meeting space we now call the SMG Big Room.  SMG donated the equipment cost for the center as well as allowing employees to volunteer their time to help with the install!  This donation was in excess of $20,000!!
