We are excited to announce Daniel Gleason as the new President & CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley!
Daniel brings a wealth of experience in community leadership, nonprofit management, fundraising, partnership development, and public engagement. Throughout his career, he has led impactful programs, events, and initiatives that have strengthened organizations and enhanced quality of life across the Quad Cities region.
Most recently, Daniel served in leadership roles with Rock Island Parks & Recreation and currently serves as Board President of Quad Cities Pride Alliance, where he has helped expand programming, secure funding, strengthen community partnerships, and advance initiatives focused on accessibility, inclusion, and community connection.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and passion for youth development, Daniel is committed to building strong relationships, empowering teams, and creating opportunities for young people and families to thrive. His dedication to community engagement and service aligns perfectly with our mission to create and support mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
A proud resident of Rock Island, Illinois, Daniel and his husband, Brent, are deeply involved in the Quad Cities community and share a passion for service, advocacy, and creating welcoming spaces for all.
