Whether you’re an adrenaline enthusiast, looking to conquer personal fears, marking a special occasion, or simply seeking a thrilling challenge, Over the Edge is an exhilarating experience that raises crucial funds for our impactful mission!

What to Expect

1. Register & Set Up Your Fundraising Page

Once you register, you’ll create your personal fundraising page — similar to a social media profile — where you can share your story, your “why,” and your fundraising progress. Your page makes it easy for friends, family, coworkers, and followers to securely support your rappel by donating online. Simply share your custom link through email, text, and social media to start fundraising.

2. Fundraise

You won’t be doing this alone. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley will support you every step of the way with fundraising tips, tools, and opportunities to help you reach your goal. Participants may also have chances to earn fundraising dollars through special promotions, guest bartending events, contests, and more.

3. Go Over the Edge

Event day is where the adventure begins! From check-in to touchdown, BBBS staff, volunteers, and certified Over the Edge technicians will guide you through the entire experience. You’ll get geared up, receive rooftop training, and then take the rappel of a lifetime as trained professionals safely assist you down the building.
