The School-Based Program is a one-to-one, site-based mentoring program that pairs a Little in elementary school with a Big, an adult volunteer age 18 or older. Each Match makes a 12-month commitment to meet 2-4 times per month on school grounds, typically during the child’s lunch and recess period.
In-person interaction outside of school is not permitted.
The School-Based Plus Program is a one-to-one, site-based mentoring program that pairs a Little in elementary school with a Big, an adult volunteer age 18 or older. Each Match makes a 12-month commitment to meet 2-4 times per month, primarily on school grounds, typically during the child’s lunch and recess period.
Interaction outside of school is allowed, including individual community outings or participation in BBBSMV group Match activity events.
