The 39th Annual Snowbird Softball Classic is upon us!  This tournament has become a winter tradition in the Quad Cities.  Teams from all over the midwest converge on the Dugout Sports Complex in Davenport for two weekends of fun, exercise and friendly competition.

This years schedule is:

         Co-Ed Tournament 
         January 23rd-25th
         Entry Deadline- January 21st
         Men's Tournament
         February 6th-8th
         Entry Deadline- February 4th

The tournament is hosted by the The Dugout Sports Complex, located at 3504 Hickory Grove Road in Davenport.  Questions about registration should be directed to Mike at the Dugout- 563-391-4211. 

The Co-Ed and Men's Tournament are double elimination, with two divisions (Competitive and Recreational).  Games are projected to start Friday at 6:30PM.  Play continues at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. Sunday.  Please indicate the division you would like to play on the registration form.  The tournament director reserves the right to determine final seating and placement of your team. 

Draw and Rules Meeting-  All teams must be paid and registered by the Wednesday prior to the tournament AND have a team member attend the Drawing/Rules meeting.  For Co-Ed, the entry deadline is January 21st.  For Men's, the entry deadline is February 4th.  The Draw/Rules meeting will be held at 7PM of the entry deadline at the Dugout Sports Complex. 

Seating-  If you are an out-of-town team, more than 20 miles outside the QC area, your team will be seated to play your first game on Saturday.  If you are a Quad City team, you should be prepared to play Friday evening.  If you are unable to play Friday evening, please contact the tournament director prior to the drawing deadline.  This will be a double elimination tournament, with teams guarenteed a minimum of two games.     

The annual tournament is hosted by the Dugout Sports Complex and coordinated by USSSA. Proceeds from the tournament support Big Brothers Big Sisters one-to-one mentoring programs in the greater Quad Cities area. Sponsors include: KLJB Fox 18, The Dugout Sports Complex, USSSA, MidWest Collectables, The Trophy King, QC Times, QC Threads.

Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-to-one youth mentoring services to nearly 1,700 children and families. Through the community-, school-, site- and career navigator program programs, children learn to improve their self-confidence, school performance, and relationships with others, while reducing delinquency, drug and alcohol abuse, and teen pregnancy.
